LATEST NEWS New Sire arrives!  Yarrawonga Random was purchased at the 2006 Yarrawong Waco sale.  Random will be joined to Doondi females in the coming few weeks.  Bulls currently in use include Wave Hill Witness Yarrabindi herd, Wave Hill Lizard and now Yarrawonga Random. Doondi Santa Gertrudis Show Results NSGBG Female of the Year 2006 Doondi Fashion a 14 month old heifer by Wave Hill Witness out of Big Sur BJ 86 was successful at the year end awards night for NSGBG, winning female of the year.  Her Dam won the same trophy in 2004 as our fist show cow. Fashion is due to calve in the next few months to Wave Hill Lizard. BJ 86 has an excellent bull calf by Lizard at foot now.

At the 138th Inverell Show, a feature Interbreed heifer show attracted over 60 entries. Santa Gertrudis were successful taking many place ribbons, as well as the Grand Champion Heifer of the Show being awarded to Doondi Fashion (F1) a Wave Hill Witness daughter. Fashion went on to wins at Barraba, Manilla, Tamworth and Gunnedah for Junior Champion Female. Our thanks to Neville Farawell for exhibiting Doondi Fashion at these shows. This is our second year of breaking in and showing stud cattle and we were pleased that Fashion paraded well.
