Thank you for taking the time to visit the Doondi website, our aim is to provide all visitors and clients with the latest information on the Doondi Stud stock breeding programs and progeny for sale.  The horses, cattle and dogs stem from a passion for our family and the land, our core goal is to consistently produce quality stock based on practical needs.

The stud name Doondi comes from Jon-Maree's grandfather AS Manchee, who worked on the Manchee family properties at Dirranbandi being Doondi & Yamburgan, later moving to Binneguy Station & taking up ownership of Weetah and Macquarie at Pallamallawa.  It is as a tribute to him that we use the property name Doondi, as the prefix for our Australian Stock Horses, Santa Gertrudis & Border Collie Studs and trailers.

Our most recent news is that in 2008 we rellocated to "Rivendell" a mere 1klm from Narrabri on the Old Gunnedah Road, we now have the capacity to irrigate 80 acres and in time we plan to develop 50 acres to lucerne.  Rivendell stretches back to the Namoi River and has an excellent fishing and swimming spot for the kids.  Not to mention the fantastic sheds, yards, chook run and fruit trees.   All visitors are welcome any time.

We are building a business around the core goal to continue living and working on the land, producing quality stock based on practical needs. Hopefully continued on by future generations! We have three children, a daughter Shaine is 10yrs, sons Tom 9 & Joe 6 yrs.

Our Breeding philosophy is provided so you know where we are coming from and what we strive for in our various stud stock businesses.
