Narrabri Pony Camp 2005  Both Shaine and Tom Baker attended Pony camp in Narrabri during the September school holidays.  Tom was the youngest camper, scraping in with his 6th birthday 2 days prior to camp going in.  Shaine rode Ladybird in Upper Green and Tom rode Doondi Request in Lower Green both having a great time on safe mounts.  Tom won hi-point U 7 boy rider and due to the lack of boys in his age group competed with the U7 girls.  Shaine placed in all events in a large group of 7 & U 9 girls. The light horse parade was a highlight of the presentations.

Bull sale results !  Doondi E2 sold $3300, Doondi Elvis $3300, Doondi Dozer $4950 at the Tamworth NSGBG Sale on the 7th September. The average of the sale was approx $4700 with a Sujo bull making $44 000 purchased by Yugilbar Stud.  All in all it was a good first experience selling at a commercial Santa Sale our bulls sold as lots 1, 2 & 3 so the above result is a pleasing reflection of the way in which Doondi bulls presented at the sale.  Jeff and I attended with Joe our youngest son who managed to have a great day along with a border collie pup for entertainment during the sale. Greg Prince Working Dog School - earlier this month Jeff along with 10 other local stockmen and women attended a Greg Prince dog training school.  The weekend was a bit damp but no deterrent to those wishing to learn more about working dogs.  The school was organised by Owen Shields of Narrabri and was held at Bobbiwa Sth.

The Doondi team performed well, with Tally Ho making a strong impression, Greg believes that she is more likely to be Sevills Bill breeding as she resembles closely some of his dogs (uncanny really!).  Nat, Jess and Tig also performed well with Tig one of the stronger performing pups over the weekend.
