The Doondi stud prefix is an aboriginal word meaning "place of water". Doondi is based on the Eastern side of Narrabri in New South Wales. Doondi stock horse stud continues to sell horses post EI. Most recently Doondi Rivers (GP Stryder/ Ahwahnee Casscade) sold and we look forward to seeing him develop a successful show career. Doondi Cleo (Ahwahnee Condor / Terlings Whitney) sold to Jodi Tiver of WA for polocrosse. Jodi is a member of the WA Women's team and has been selected in an Aus team to tour Europe. Our Philosophy

		The Doondi aim is to breed Stock Horses that the whole family can ride and enjoy. Temperament is above all else, the most important factor in breeding. Combining a "type" criteria means Doondi Stock Horses must be able to do the job at home first and foremost. Success on a practical level, follows through into the performance fields of Campdrafting, Polo, Polocrosse, Showing, Dressage, One-day eventing and other horse sports.
		Doondi Santa Gertrudis stud number 1923 was started after moving to Lynoch in 1997. The stud is based mainly on Big Sur, Marston, Wave Hill & Quandilla bloodlines. The herd is relatively young, the core of its development focus is a breeding objective aimed at meeting the needs of commercial cattleman. Temperament, fertility, structural soundness and versatility are the cornerstones of our breeding goals
		Good working dogs are essential, they make the day and the task enjoyable and are an integral part of our daily life. The breeding program is based on providing us with good, strong dogs that have natural desire and obedience. The fourth litter of Doondi puppies are now on the ground and at this early stage are showing promise through their eye and cast around the children in the garden!
